Application / Selection Timeline

The following is a timeline to which all CAPIC member predoctoral internships agree to adhere.

Friday, January 25, 2008	CAPIC Southern California Internship Fair
Friday, February 8, 2008	CAPIC Northern California Internship Fair
Thursday, February 28, 2008	Participating UND for Postdoctoral Internships
Monday, March 3, 2008	Deadline for internship applications to reach agencies.
Friday, March 28, 2008	Last day to notify applicants whom internships do not intend to consider.
Monday, April 7, 2008	Uniform Notification Day Accepted applicants notified no earlier than 8:30 a.m. Alternate applicants may be notified after 8:30 a.m. Applicants must respond by 12:00 noon. Once an internship agency's positions are filled, remaining applicants will be notified. Intern applicants must retain no more than one offer at a time. Review CAPIC's policies on offers and acceptances.

Clearinghouse Timeline
Monday, April 7, 2008	Applicants respond to offers from internships by 12:00 noon.
Monday, April 7, 2008: after 12:00 noon and ongoing	Internship agencies that still need to fill training vacancies complete the Clearinghouse Form and forward it to the CAPIC Office for dissemination to member doctoral programs. Member graduate doctoral programs receive information about available openings via email. Doctoral programs may wish to forward this information to interested students.
