Joe Grillo, PhD

Joseph Grillo, Ph.D. graduated the University of Memphis and was an intern at the VA Medical Center in Long Beach, CA.  He has been licensed since 1993 and has specialized in psychological assessment and the treatment of children, adolescents and young adults. 

Dr. Grillo is the Mental Health Consultant to Job Corps centers in Los Angeles and Long Beach.  He has created four clinical training programs at different sites in southern California, and is currently a clinical supervisor at a CAPIC internship and a practicum. 

His private practice is focused on psychoeducational evaluation.  He is formerly a member of the Board of Directors of the LA County Psychological Association where he served on the Ethics Committee for more than a decade, and was a member of the LA County Department of Mental Health Expert Panel on psychological testing.
